Name: Tadashi Hamada

Personality: At first glance, Tadashi appears to be a real model citizen. And indeed, it certainly could seem that way to someone getting to know him. He is intelligent and athletic, and also kind and caring to those around him. He is diligent and serious about working hard, but he can also be excitable and goofy and able to joke around with his brother and friends. He is also optimistic, and very persistent in his goals and desires.
Tadashi can also be rather sneaky, as could be seen when tricking Hiro to accompanying him to the institute to get his brother interested in attending. Growing up with a younger brother meant having to resort to such methods at times, though he isn't above directly scolding Hiro, or anyone if necessary, when it's needed. He is also seen to get rather frustrated at Hiro, upset that his brother is wasting his potential wtih dangerous activities like illegal bot fighting. But it is only because he cares about Hiro so much that he wants his younger brother to be the best he can be, and tries hard to be that good role model for his brother to follow.
More than anything, Tadashi has a great desire to do good and to help others...sometimes even at the cost of his own well-being. Tadashi is the creator of Baymax, a personal healthcare companion that he believes will help a lot of people and change the world for the better. However Baymax took quite a while to perfect, and recordings taken by Baymax himself shows that Tadashi seemed to have given up several hours of sleep trying to fix the helper bot and get him working properly. He is also willing to put himself in danger to help someone else, whether it's bailing his brother out of trouble from a bot fight gone bad - even at the risk of going to jail - or making the ultimate sacrfice by running into a building that is on fire to find his professor, becase "someone has to help."
Because ultimately Tadashi is very loyal to those he cares about. And no matter what, he will never give up on someone or something he truly believes in.

[The scroll opens up to Tadashi pacing around a bit, looking at one hoof every once in a while as he talks to himself. He doesn’t seem to realize that the scroll was recording.]
Okay, let’s see… gotten the hang of walking, at least. I still need to figure out a better way to pick things up… Building will be difficult if I can’t hold anything.
I’ll also need to find a job or something, especially if I’m here for a while. What else…?
[It’s on a turn for another round of pacing that he notices the scroll. He seems a bit embarrassed to be caught talking to himself, but he passes it off with a small smile as he addresses the scroll directly.]
Anyone know where I can get a baseball cap?

Tadashi took his time as he walked through the town of Ponyville, taking note of anywhere that would be useful during his stay in this place. It was still strange, trying to get used to a world where the majority of the population were various kinds of brightly-colored ponies.
Honey Lemon would have really liked this place.
The idea brings a smile to his lips, but only for a moment as it brings other thoughts to the forefront of his mind; things he had been trying not to dwell on too much, with mixed results.
He’d already been told by many others that being brought here temporarily stopped time in their home worlds - at least as it related to themselves, since others from their worlds could arrive from a future point in time. It sounded too convenient really, but he rather hoped it was true, especially considering the last moment he could remember before coming here.
The showcase… and the fire…
Looking back on it now, rushing into a burning building had been a dangerous thing to do. Yet he doesn’t regret it; it was as he had told Hiro, someone needed to help. He could only hope that time was really stopped at that moment, though.
If not, and time had gone on while he was here...was Professor Callaghan all right? And Hiro, who he had left at the entrance of the burning building. Was he okay? What would he and Aunt Cass do if they thought he was missing?
His head was starting to hurt just thinking about all this, and he shook himself of the thoughts for the time being. Right now, there was nothing he could really do about it.
Until he could manage to get home, he would just have to hope things would work out all right.
